As part of your first visit to our office, you can expect:

- You'll meet with Dr. Shawn or Dr. Candice to discuss treatment goals and length of treatment
- You'll meet with our New Patient Coordinator who will provide you with the different payment options that we offer
Easy & Comfortable
The first visit to a doctor’s office can sometimes seem intimidating, especially for kids. But, your first visit to About Faces and Braces will be completely painless.
At your first free consultation, you’ll be welcomed by our team, introduced to board-certified orthodontists Dr. Shawn and Dr. Candice, and shown around our office.
You can even enjoy refreshments if you have to wait.
Our highly-trained, orthodontic treatment coordinator will then take some digital photographs of your teeth.
These images are the best way for us to see your teeth, jaws, and facial soft tissue.
Your Custom Treatment Plan
After reviewing your records, Dr. Shawn or Dr. Candice will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan.
Dr. Shawn or Dr. Candice will point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.
They will take as much time as you need to answer your questions and decide what kind of treatment is best for you. Dr. Shawn or Dr. Candice and their assistant will then walk you through the process.
They’ll explain everything – from scheduling to expected discomfort levels, to finances and payment options.
Start Your Treatment the Same Day
Once we know your treatment needs, we can provide a timeframe for your treatment and future orthodontic visits.
We value the relationship that we’ll build with you and your family throughout that process and want you to be confident that you’re receiving the best orthodontic care possible.
Once you feel like we've answered all of your questions and concerns, you can start your treatment that same day. We value your time, and we know you want to make the most of your visit.
