Shawn Lehman-Grimes, D.D.S., M.D.S.
"Dr. Shawn," as his patients call him, moved back to middle Tennessee after completing his orthodontic training in 2005. He is a graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy, Emory University, and the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
Dr. Shawn has kept a sharp focus on helping his profession by staying very active in organized dentistry. Dr. Shawn is immediate Past President for the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists (TAO), past representative on the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Insurance (COI), Director for the American Association of Orthodontists Insurance Company (AAOIC), and President of the 8th District Dental Society.
Dr. Shawn continues his support in the community by sponsoring numerous youth sports leagues, speaking at local schools, and participating in fundraising endeavors.
In his free time – who are we kidding? With young children, there is no free time!
When not cheering for the Nashville Predators, you can find Dr. Shawn and his wife at ballet or swim class!!
Candice Coleman, D.D.S., M.D.S.
Dr. Candice was born and raised in Seattle, WA. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, OR where she also played volleyball and lacrosse.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. She maintained several leadership roles, including class president and national representative for the American Student Dental Association. She received her Orthodontic Certificate and Master of Dental Science from the University of Tennessee. Throughout her career Dr. Candice has been honored with numerous awards including the Jack E. Wells outstanding young dentist award, as well as the Dr. Norris Howell Award for outstanding leadership and service.
Dr. Candice has continued her involvement with organized dentistry and has held numerous positions including the Public Relations Officer for the 8th District Dental Society and the Political outreach Leader for the American Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Candice is happily married to Dr. Burton Coleman, who happens to be an endodontist and originally from Franklin, TN. They have a son, Emerson and two daughters, Ensley and Emalyn. They are both very involved in the Clarksville community with Dr. Candice serving on the Custom’s House Museum Guild, a member of the Sunrise Rotary, and are both active members of their church.
